All of zues ailments after final..will he be ready? Outside of a goalie is stan done? - ikeane
They could conceivably sign another cheap vet forward and/or dman and bury Carcillo or Brookbank in the AHL next year if they thought it makes the team better.

Nashville is trying to change the skill set
Seth Jones
Stalberg both help with that
They have improved the team in the last two weeks
Big Time - PEIHawkFan
seth jones is a kid - maybe in a few years he may be a stud but if he is on the first line with weber......weber has his work cut out for him......kid is gonna get his lunch handed to him the first year....takes a few years to get his feet under him....
stals is not a game changer - like him as a complimentary piece....not a game changer, IMO |

Still think a 3rd/4th liner is in order.
I don't think they'll just bring up everyone in Rockford to fill remaining holes and call it a day. - teh_HAWKZ
So - this will be basically the same team as last year?
How boring.
And just waiting for Bowman's "we like our team" speech.
Yeah, right, Stan, based on what?

Same team minus Bolland and Frolik. Let's see if Bowman adds another spare part or two. If this is essentially the same team as last year, how can that bother anyone? It was the best team in hockey?

Tracey Myers with a new article up on returning vets.
--
Rozsival’s calm on the ice impressed the Blackhawks immediately, including some of his fellow defensemen.
“I noticed during the first practice with him this year, just the small passes he makes make it so much easier for everyone. He’s just a really smart player that I, personally, can try to learn things from,” Niklas Hjalmarsson said during the postseason. “It’s just the way he makes situations out there look really easy.”

Just the mere mention of Tim Thomas already has Hawks fans talking about NON-Hockey related topics.
PASS - kwolf68
Dunno. If he can still play, sorry—cue the Crow Fanatics—he's a better goalie than what they have.

Sure won't bother me. Rosy was a key signing, because without him we are looking at a third pair of Leddy/Brookbank or Leddy/Stanton...NOT good (at least not quite yet).
Now we have Rosy/Leddy, which looks great all of a sudden and can spot start Brookbank (or even Stanton) to keep the wear on Rosy down. I say give Rosy 50 games this year and then let him go full time in the playoffs. The guy is a great hockey player despite advancing age and wear.
One last part I'd like to see? A L4-Center |

No one will ever be happy, we won the Stanley Cup a week and a half ago with a record setting team, but we find ways to get upset. We lost no one on our top 2 lines, our defense will stay exactly the same (granted Leddy signs). Bolland hurts to lose as a fan, and Frolik hurts with his effort and PK skills. I'm excited about having basically the same team as the team that won the cup. |

How much are you willing to pay to find out that he can't play or is a locker room problem?

That's pretty much the same team that won the President's Trophy and the Stanley Cup last season!

Bringing back the best D core in the NHL is huge. Handzus and Rosey are glue guys in the locker room. We will defend the Cup with almost the same team. I would like to see Stan land Khudobin, 27 years old, made 800 thousand last year, would be a solid backup to Crow and would allow Raanta to play in Rockford. |

Uh-greed.
I think signing Thomas would be easier than it seems. His off-ice antics give him less desirability to some teams, I assume. |
