@SportsCenter: UPDATE: A source has told ESPN that Dwight Howard has "changed his mind." Howard has told Lakers he's now 50-50.

Is this dude serious, making LBJ decision look good.

ummm, yes, they are up against it according to cap geek, after savard,
w/o rask signed

- puckhead17

Might want to look again. It clearly lists Boston as having 5.6M of cap space still available.

$5,638,690 to be exact.

No, my bad, they are not over, I looked at the top 7 salaries on that team before all additions & figured they had to be over after Rask signs

my bad, I still don't get what they are doing, the Seguin move was unreal, giving up on him already

Blah blah open forum blah blah blah

I'm going to say this though, in all seriousness: I think it's time for Homer to get some national recognition for raping this year's free agency. Sick of Lou and Shero.

correct, my bad, albeit the moves they've made so far are confusing, dumping Seguin & signing iginla, before extending Rask

I know. Its disturbing watching the difference between the NBA and NHL playoffs. Guys in the NHL taking pucks of the leg while guys in the nba flailing their bodies as if they've been shot to try and draw a foul

It does bother me that Shero gets a ton of credit. Crosby and Malkin fell into his lap. He's made some good moves, but it's not like he drafts all stars late in the first round like the Flyers have several times now.

Guys in the NHL killing penalties on broken legs.

Playing with broken ribs, a lacerated lung, torn cartilage, and a torn labrum....

Hockey exhibits that "warrior" mentality more than any sport. That's a sort of code among athletes, but hockey players are really remarkable in that regard. We all know the lengthy injury lists after the playoffs have subsided and even just the general grueling wear and tear of the regular season/playoffs as a whole...

Meanwhile, Lebron gets carried off the (frank)in court by 4 guys because his leg cramped.

Not even close to what happens in the NBA. Paul Pierce was carried off the floor on a stretcher in the NBA finals because he couldnt walk. Then he returned 15 minutes later to finish the game. They called him a "warrior."
