I doubt that happens. I wonder what the Calgary rumors were. There is nothing from them that helps this team now. Coots helps the team now and later.

According to the Habs fansite...Hockey Inside Out.....The Flyers just traded Colbrun, Wayne Simmonds and Maxine Talbot to the Habs for..Plekanec, Nathan Beaulieu and Travis Moen They also said "America sucks".

As for that trade, they need to (frank) off and at least look at our needs before just saying "Ok stoopid Americaans, we take all your good playerss, and you take what we want give you". Hopefully you read that in a French accent.

The solidified the goaltending position for a very low cost, and added a capable AHL starter/emergency guy, didn't dump a poopload of cash into damaged goods(Horton), overpay for an underachiever(Clowe) or go nuts for a solid guy that is regarded more highly than his level of play(Clarkson).

I do wonder if there is another move out there, but all in all a solid day.

Perfect summary. I was expecting the worst today, but am pleasantly surprised that it turned into a nice, quiet day for the Flyers. We all know there is still a trade to be made, but so far, so good.
