I'm happy Horton is a blue jacket, I like that guy and I like that team.

Glad for them as well they will have a good team very soon, but I gotta say I find it really lame when really good players specifically sign in non big time hockey markets bc they want to just blend in and not have much pressure. I don't want a guy like that especially for big bucks. I want a player who wants to be in the spotlight and can handle the pressure and push himself

More importantly to me is his injury history and 7 years. You want your players to be happy and if that makes him happy, cool.

I like it so far.

Nothing wild, and staying the course. As much as I want Holmgren to upgrade that D, I really dont see trade options for good d-men these days anyway.

This team is good, but certainly not a lock for a playoff spot. Many question marks, and these new playoff formats will make it that much harder.

Should be a fun season, a lot of parity in this league.

I think it's a pretty good roster. Injury concerns are very legit though. With Detroit and C-Bus coming into the East it's going to be a very tough conference.

Nah. I think the Ryan ship has finally sailed. He's a nice player, but if he wasn't a local kid you would hear so many rumors about him coming to Philadlephia.

That it is but I think the Flyers can stick with any of them...Boston was a beast last seaon but they have lost some pretty good players should be a fun season! I really like our squad even if they dont do anything else.

Like I said before, Read, Coburn, Coots, and Bschenn for Kane and Bogo.

If somehow that D can hold up and the kids continue to develop they could be good.

No easy outs for sure though, and Lava will be on a short leash. I've been female doging for months about them staying the course and being patient in general. Seems that message may be finally sinking in.

Not sure I would be happy leaving a place like Anaheim for Ottawa. But the passion for hockey in Ottawa is amazing. I've been there. Anaheim not so much.

The day isn't over yet Nutter. Holmgren might get bored.

If no one is willing to take Meszaros could be a dilemma.
