Grossmann's been cleared to play already, and Mez will be cleared by the end of July.

But there's still training camp, preseason, drives to/from the arena, walking, showering, etc. Apparently Mez has a chance of injuring himself by flipping a light switch or brewing a cup of coffee.

Someone is getting traded. Just a matter of when.

You do realize we had 2 PPG players last year? Voracek is a legit top line winger. We need to give Schenn enhanced playing time in order to see him blossom. Natural progression.

I did mention that Voracek had more goals and points than:

I'm a huge Voracek fan. He's so underrated. I just don't like him and Giroux on the same line. I'm a big believer in B Schenn too and I agree he's ready for a breakout season, but I think the Flyers are going to get rid of a defenseman and its possible Read, B Schenn or Couturier will be part of a package deal.

If they sign Filppula i'd say they will have 7-8 mill in cap space to sign Pietrangelo and Stewart to contracts...Halak will probably be a contract that goes through trade to clear some but still ...offer sheet could cripple them

Just a little more incentive. He took over that top line bit late last season... March I believe. Well... Since last March:

Games- 76
Goals- 31
Assists-40
Points- 71

He needs to play on the top line.

If moves are made, then it should be addressed, but there is no need to improve the top line wingers.

Even after outscoring all those guys listed before, NHL 13 still only rated Voracek an 82 to end the year. Beautiful work from the EA Vancouver offices.

Pietrangelo is untouchable, Hamilton and OEL maybe not. You'd think those 2 would be untouchable, but Boston and Pheonix both have tremendous depth in their prospect pool on defense. Honestly, Pheonix has another OEL growing right now in Brandon Gormley. They also have Rundblad who is likely to grow into a top pairing talent as well. Boston has the recent emergence of Krug and Bartowski to grow on, as well as the recent acquisition of Joe Morrow, who could definitely grow into a top pairing guy.
