He had to pass a physical so I doubt it would have mattered. I'd be more concerned about his concussion history if I were Columbus

Do we even have a comparable to that? If Giroux left it'd be a heart breaker, but would anyone literally break out into tears and not go to any more Flyers games? I can't even imagine having that much respect for a player.

Flyers apparently were in very much so on Scuderi before be went to the Penguins. I know this board would be split, but consider me happy we didn't get him. Next defenseman we get I want is young and can move the puck. We've got a lot of stay at home types (even though Scuds has mobility).

Penguins have about 30 cents worth of cap space remaining and several RFAs to sign. Hard to imagine trade isn't coming at some point.
