Well I still don't understand why they waited until the 5th minute free agency started to sign the contract then. That's something teams do with UFAs that aren't theirs.

Just would prefer a legit #1 option. We're back to musical chairs here again.

Maybe the player held it up, and wanted to see what was out there before committing to the Isles.

numbers like 20G 45P while playing against other teams top lines and without much PP time is worthy of quite a bit. Flyers are in the same position with Matt Read except Read is ufa next season
