I wouldn't be crazy about it, especially 4-5 years down the road, but he'd really help EDM. He's got great underlying numbers.

Play him with Hall-Gagner maybe. The top 6 forwards'd be Hall, RNH, Eberle, Yak, Gagner, and Clarkson allowing MPS to return to a more suitable position on 3LW/3RW

I'd assume it's because ebs and yak are 5'9.5 and 5'11 respectively

Everything Hall does well would be negated by a move to centre. He's great because he backs off the opposing defence with fast breaks and FINALLY last year he learned to mix up his zone entries so he wasn't so damn predictable. Moving him to centre could negate that quite easily as he is starting deeper in his own zone.

Plus, there aren't very many lines in the NHL that have shooting centre's that aren't blackholes for linemates.

I totally agree. Can you actually name one center that is a pure shooter? Putting hall at C is like Kings moving Carter to center because he's solid on draws. If anything, he practices his draws to take some pressure off gags, allowing Gagner to be more aggressive in the circle. ( If they're still line mates)

I think Clarkson's contract'll be a burden for whoever signs him 4-5 years down the road. Will I be mad if EDM signs him? No. He'll help EDM get to contending in the next 3 years

He's not a mean brute that picks on players. He is a stand up guy but at 6'1'' and around 210lbs he isn't a bully. He does stand up for his bros but he doesn't fight Heavys. 30 goals once and he demands that much..... go to the Leafs or the KHL.

Yak is clearly a better RW than LW. After the way he proved he could play at the end of the year why would you ever move him again. Its just plain stupid.
