It's going to be a blast for teams like Boston and Detroit to play this team. There's no way this team w this roster will have over 65 points next season. It's almost impossible.

I feel bad for Huberdeau and Barkov. Following the same path as guys like Horton and Weiss, coming into a last place team with no future in clear view. It's a shame we keep repeating the same mistakes by building losers. Keep in mind the last playoff series this team won was in 1996. It's year 2013, talk about the worst franchise in all of hockey. Crabb is a replacement for Skille. But Crabb is a more two dimensional player.

This organization loves to start rookies and 2nd year players in let roles. I'm sorry but Barkov should not play next year, what good will it do him being on a last place team and getting out matched because he has no one on his line like Huby last season. It's a complete mess.

Could have at very least made a "mini-run" for Bouchard who lands w/ Isles for 2mil. Glad they atleast signed Matthias.

Not a happy fan today TBH. I like our young guys big time, but you need to fuse young with veteran proven winners and or scorers. With the exception of Campbell we seldom do it.

I do think the owners are in a bit of financial trouble.

Let's be real guys, these contracts are ridiculous. Horton for over 5, Clowe for 4.8, Filpulla for 5, Weiss for 4.9, Clarkson for over 5... these guys aren't worth that at all.

I'm happy Tallon is staying away fro these types of deals.
