Id rather have a quicker third line with for example...
Hagelin, Brassard, Miller
... and a more physical 4th line with...
Nystrom, Hendricks, Dorsett - aecliptic
I like that 4th line |

Yep... except we need to find someone to take Powe, Asham, Boyle and Pyatt off our hands. |

Pyatt had his best season under AV when he played with the Nux. Thats the only reason hes not waived at the moment. My hope is that he will prosper under AV because i doubt hes going any place fast. |

oh man that would be scary. are they in the running for filppula strongly?
a top 9 of Horton - Anisimov - Gaborik, Atkinson - Filppula - Dubinsky, Letestu - Johansen - Umberger is scary deep. |

I'm thinking in a few years, Seguin is a franchise player, Eriksson isn't but he is good nd will help now |

Erikson will fit on that team much better I think. Seguin is pirimadonna anyway. I like it from Bostons perspective |

Nill makes a great move early today then trades for Horcoff |

yea seguin has the potential to be a franchise superstar player in a few years. but i think eriksson is a really underrated complete player. awesome defensively and has averaged over 29 goals a season the past 4 years. plus, seguin was stuck as a 3C behind bergeron and krejci and now they have a natural winger. but that's why i like it for both squads.
you also have to consider the fact that boston cleared a tooooon of cap space in this move and got a couple really, really good prospects. overall, great deal for both sides imo. |

horcoff gets a lot of poop for his cap hit but he's a good 3C. looks like dallas is loading up on depth to make a legit run at the postseason next year. i think a small market team like dallas also appreciates the fact that his salary is much lower than his cap hit actually is. not sure of dallas' cap situation but they seem like one of those teams that struggles to meet the cap floor sometimes. |

I dont know man... Loui is a proven player plus Boston got some serious prospects.
Matt Frasor (6'2, 204 lbs) scored the most goals in the AHL over the last 2 years. Looks like he might be in a position to take Horton's spot if he doesnt resign.

Not that scary, cmon. Dubinsky and AA don't scare anyone. Johansen's a good young player, I wanted the Rangers to draft him. |

Its not so bad, they have 2 very young centers in Benn and Seguin, now you bring in a veteran like Horcoff who can teach the kids some stuff. |

They didnt give up on him, they didnt trust him to be the future of the team. I think the return was pretty good. |

yea this is strictly a hockey trade. why have him rot on the 3rd line or play a position he never played his entire life until he made it to the NHL when you can get a hell of a winger in eriksson? seems like management hated his partying habits too. |

AA is pretty good man. miss that dude a lot. that's a really, really deep lineup man. sum of all parts kind of squad with some star power and snipers there. i'm not sure you realize how much potential atkinson and johansen have either. |
