8.3 is for the 2014-15 Season, they will have 12 million in cap space next season after that kicks in, and yet the cap is still going to go up too, so they will have even more. they will be fine by then

It's an extension not a new contract won't be on the cap until he current contract is up.

Dudes gone. He already turned down a big offer from LA. You dont pay those kinds of guys 4mil or more a year, as much as you love them and your team needs them you just dont do it. RR got 3mil. Mitchell whos a better dman is at 3.5. Let him go. We just signed Ellerby for a yr. He aint good but he and poopty. Plus we still got Muzzin and Amart. Ill just go with the youth. Muzzin has done nothing but get better.

That's bad. Scuds was huge for us. He saved our asses on a nightly basis. Our D is going to suffer big time. As well as JQ. I like Muzzin, but Martinez really took a step back this year.
