I doubt it.
The money will be to pay the RFA's and bring crappy bozak.
I hope nonis is able to change to mind, but so far, it was a stupid move.

- Fakepartofme

I can't help but think if Bozak was plan A, he'd have signed by now.

There has to be something else up Nonis' sleeve.

Please Lord.

Pretty please.

Horcoff is a character guy.

Grabo is a snapping turtle with attitude.

- robin_steele264

But Horcoff sucks and is HORRIBLY overpaid.
Id take Grabo over horcoff any day of the week.

Except today cause....well he got bought out.

It has to be. If nonis couldnt trade him (even holding back salary) Then how can you say he'd get 5.5 as a UFA. If hes not worth 5.5 as a UFA. Spending 5.5 on a UFA should have a higher return than grabo
- kylkri

My point is that UFAs are just about always over paid. Same with trades, because you give up assets.

I worry that if Bozak signs in Detroit, that town could riot.

Buildings looted and burned.

Entire blocks reduced to rubble.

Hundreds of dollars in damages...

Has Dreger become a MLSE puppet?
- bloatedmosquito

I can't believe Gillis had a deal worked out to trade Luongo for two firsts and a second, and Dreger killed the deal!

The Toronto media is so unfair!

Why does the CBC play Leafs games before Canucks games? Bias B.S., I tells ya!

Well if you asked Burke on this move he probably say they didnt give him away for nothing. They traded him for the asset of cap space.

I get what your saying about UFAs being over paid. Whether or not you agree with it Nonis didnt think he was worth the over payment and that there are better options (including overpaying for someone else) moving forward.

We were slow at work for awhile there, then all of a sudden boom and we're flooded with work. Though I do love a good slow/half day here and there. Get home early and fire up the grill and crack the beers.

This. Or wait until next year and hope he rebounds enough to trade him, if not, buy him out then.
