The one thing that it did confirm is that he cares. He could have handled it better, but I think he's the first one out of these buy outs to react with this level of anger. Say what you will but at least he is passionate for the sport, and we lost a player who really did care.

Definitly dont question his heart. He didnt get many points this year, but he was a pinball out there. Definitly gave it his all. Carlyle viewed him as a third liner and his salary didnt reflect that. Its not that he wasnt capable of points, or didnt try. Nonis must think he can fill the #1 or 2 C spots more cost effective. He was probably one of the top guys on the team as far as passion is concerned.

In a way, he does have a point. Under Wilson, Grabo was a 20 goal, 50-60point player who seemed to play well at both ends of the ice and improved his all round game. Enter a new coach and all of a sudden he became a bad hockey player? Also, it didn't seem like he was shifting blame but rather stating his version of the facts. Which were that the coach never communicated with him, at least not clearly enough, why Grabs ice time was cut and he was put through a demotion of sorts in the line up. He was trying to say that instead of sitting me and cutting my ice time/demoting me, tell me what it is you want me to do so I can keep my spot in the line up.

Plus the fact hes getting married tomorrow, and the guy has to be under a lot of stress and emotional times.

I completely agree with what Grabo said, RC is an idiot for how he used. You cant play a guy for 8 defensive minutes and expect him to produce.
Only a moron would sit grabo and put pa-neuf in a shoot out.

Twoonie Tuesday at KFC. This time, with the money he saved on Grabo, a side of gravy to go with it.

Horcoff is a character guy.

Grabo is a snapping turtle with attitude.

I worry that if Bozak signs in Detroit, that town could riot.

Buildings looted and burned.

Entire blocks reduced to rubble.

Hundreds of dollars in damages...

I loved what RC did with this team to be honest, but no doubt the Grabo handling was probably his weakest point as the coach this past season. He allowed Kadri to shine, while bending Grabo over. Wilson allowed Grabo to shine, while bending Kadri over. Either way, our coaches have been mishandling our C's.

I doubt it.
The money will be to pay the RFA's and bring crappy bozak.
I hope nonis is able to change to mind, but so far, it was a stupid move.

It has to be. If nonis couldnt trade him (even holding back salary) Then how can you say he'd get 5.5 as a UFA. If hes not worth 5.5 as a UFA. Spending 5.5 on a UFA should have a higher return than grabo
