Over payment is almost guaranteed. I have never really been pro Weiss, we just have found ourselves in a situation where a replacement top 6 center is a must and the only real choices, other than dreaming up wild trade scenarios, are either Bozak or Weiss. Sorta feels like a rock and a hard place

Small center who put together a couple decent seasons 2-3 seasons ago with inflated ice time, coming off a disaster of a year... costing somewhere in the 5 million dollar range.

I can hardly tell them apart. But, yeah, I'd stick with the devil we know.

A quantity of centers, not so much quality. U want quality wait till 2014 July, that will be a glut of quality centers.

IMO, Sign Clarkson to less than 5Mill/3 years, Sign Bozak to less than 4 mill for 5 years, Sign Scuderi/Ference for 3 mill for 2 years. Highly likely that none of this happens.
