I doubt he reallocates it to Bozak. Now as Grabovski is bought out, Tyler cannot use the "but, but, he makes 5.5" excuse anymore. This is Toronto's way of saying you aren't gonna strike it rich being a 3rd line scrub.

I agree, Grabo's contract was being used as a measuring stick.

It's not Carlyle's fault...Grabo simply got outplayed for the 2nd line role by Kadri...we didn't have a true 3C shutdown guy...

No, you're right. For sure. He was used in a spot he shouldn't have, simply because we didn't have anyone else to do it.
You keep him in an offensive role and he'd be fine.
Second line C in Detroit? He'd be fine.

Edit: and yes, he was outplayed by Kadri for 2C
