Why Thornton? Bozak is clearly the better player. - UsernameUnknown
Oh ya of course! |

Thanks, I'm really hoping Nonis brings in Byfuglien to help Pha9.
Buff is the 1b Dman we need.
So what if he is 280lbs |

it's a cap era. nothing wrong with not wanting it wasted on garbage contracts, when it will most likely be needed down the road for better free agents, and signing our own players.
bozak would be a call up on a championship winning team. enough. - joel878
(frank) what a load of horsepoop. Good teams sign players that they feel their lineup needs and sometimes that means over payment. Big deal good GM's manage it.
I heard all the bullpoop after the last Chicago cup. And they just reloaded and won again.

I love it. Bernier's holding out for more money, and Sequin is so amazing Boston just traded him. Boy these threads are going to start looking different. |

the question is, would a good Gm think their team needs Bozak as a first line center |

I'll miss Grabo, but it needed to be done. This is Nonis' team now, but if he just takes that money and reallocates it to Bozak I can't imagine the negative backlash that will hit that office. I'm of the opinion that Nonis has something in motion and needs Grabovski's cap room. - BetterCallSaul
I doubt he reallocates it to Bozak. Now as Grabovski is bought out, Tyler cannot use the "but, but, he makes 5.5" excuse anymore. This is Toronto's way of saying you aren't gonna strike it rich being a 3rd line scrub. |

yeah, and as part of the retooling, they didn't sign any worthless garbage that could barely cut it as a third line center to long term 4 mil + contracts.
it is a cap era, it's not a difficult concept. you've clearly never had to manage so much as your own bank account if you can't understand that. good gm's don't throw ridiculous overpayments at people, and then 'just figure it out'. that's easily the most retarted (frank)ing logic i've ever heard. |

To win a cup you can't be overloaded with europeans. A few sure, but not overloaded. |

You can't read can you? Why do you always assume I mean Bozak. I made the original post regarding Clarkson. Jesus Christ.

not being able to have a better option today isn't justification for locking someone up for 4-5 years. use your head. |

Ok then you go with Colborne. You don't get it so I'll stop even talking to you. Just don't be surprised when it happens.

I'd like to part with Grabo on good terms, but he can go (frank) himself.
Carlyle was the only reason we made it as far as we did. The best streak in Grabovski's season was seven games where he posted 2 points and a -10.
But he got up a lot after getting plastered. Great. |

@jonasTSN1050: A taste of Grabovski on Carlyle: "Don’t put me on a [expletive] third line and then [expletive] play [me] six minutes in a game." |
