We've had 1 count em 1 player that really spent time in the AHL and can make an impact in the NHL and I'm not convinced he wouldn't be further ahead if he was in the NHL earlier.

No you stated what the website said. That's not your opinion. If you would have said your opinion was that the AHL is a development league I would have countered.

I get it LM I'm just not convinced it's a great tool. It's a holding tank. And teams make room for good players so that they don't spend long in the holding tank.

The idea of a guy going to the A for 3-5 years and honing his craft just doesn't happen.

If you spend more than a year there, you aren't going to be top line material.
