Have to believe Seguin demanded a trade after being publicly bashed by Chiarelli, otherwise this whole trade makes no sense.
- ThePresident

Has no leverage to do that.

I'd take Eriksson over Seguin a million times over.

And Raycroft won the Calder!

Yeah, I know.

Just joshin' with you.

But don't underestimate the ability of a guy to throw it all away.

Seguin has a bit of a gluggity-gluggity reputation in Toronto.

- Atomic Wedgie

You make a good point. Good news for Dallas is I don't think they've given up any rasks to get him.

According to @HackswithHaggs Seguin was out late during series with Maple Leafs, showing up to work with the same clothes on 3 straight days

so what about the close. The kid doesn't know how to do laundry.

Team success since the trade was my measuring stick.

I know that seems crazy right?

- robin_steele264

I guess Gretzky was pretty brutal then, eh?

This is more the way I see it, he has an attitude and party problem looking in from the outside.

When have I ever used the term "you are wrong"? That's your problem. You confuse my differing opinion with thinking I'm saying you are wrong.
- honesthockey

Just so you know, telling someone arrogant things like 'if you watched the games you'd know that', is not one freaking shade of difference from saying 'you are wrong'

Use your cap space to offer sheet Pietrangelo! At least inquire about a trade price...

I hope you're not alluding to the idea that your opinion isn't being respected. That would be pretty ironic considering anyone who opposes bozak and supports gardiner has been beaten to death getting told how wrong they are by you.

Anyone who said the ahl is a developmental league for that matter to.

- joel878

AHL isn't a development league, it's like elite swedish or finland league where young players play 5 minutes a games in bottom 6 and vet plays 18-25 min top 6 and PP.

Really?

It's a league where players transition from junior to pro hockey, a developmental phase.

I'm almost willing to bet the word development is somewhere on the ahl's website.

Sorry if it hurts your feelings that I don't read the stats sheets. I watch a game so when someone starts posting numbers at me I tell them to watch a game. Same as firing numbers at me to try to tell me Grabovski meant more to the Leaf lineup then Bozak.

Well for the Leafs with 16 ELC contracts on the Marlies, it will be a developmental season.

I don't know when it became a crime to like Bozak.

He's a decent center who did a decent job for us. In a world of decent (but not great) centers, if he comes cheapest, he can have the job.

too bad where your favorite team finishes at the end of the year wasn't determined by stats as well..... the one flaw in hockey. I agree with you.

For the record.... I wasn't serious... Because in the AHL, young players usually play on top 6 and get 1st pp time.

Around the time it became known that he wanted $5M per over 8 years I imagine.
