Over losing him for nothing and now needing to replace him and/or Bozak? Yes he had a bad half year, but had two to three solid seasons before that.

keep grabo, retain the leverage til bozak's contract is inked.. then buy out grabo

if bozak doesnt have a contract yet then he is just going to ask for more now

There was a deadline, though. Grabbo had to be placed on waivers by noon today if you want to use a compliance buyout on him.

Having said that, I don't think they are trying all that hard to re-sign Bozak.

I'm confident he will get a big contract from someone.

And I'm just as confident that GM will regret it.

In losing seasons. It's like the Stajan thing. He 2 - 50 point seasons but has played in 3 playoff games in ten years. You just don't win with some players.
