Pretty sure that's wrong as there have been over a dozen signings in the league since July 1...didn't Montoya re-up with the Jets today? - deerow84

Why did Mogilny never get a regular spot with Sundin? Why did Hoglund get that gig? Did you ever think that it wasn't that Bozak was the better centre, but rather to balance the scoring? - mykokes
I think Mogilny did get a permanent spot with Sundin.
I seem to recall Roberts-Sundin-Almo being a pretty great line. |

most of your posts are fine.. whether i agree or not.. its when you start in with this i'm better than the rest of you attitude that i start to get annoyed - Dozzer
It's never an I'm better then you attitude. I'm just making a point. And people here hate that. I like ho0w Bozak works with Kessel today. So what? I don't like parts of Gardiners game so what? Man I get called a dummy an idiot and a whole bunch but who cares? I don't. At least I stick to my guns bc it's what I believe until proven wrong and then I'd admit I was wrong.

i do think we won that kessel trade now.
I will concede that - Nastradamus
Not that it really matters at this point.
Boston does have a Cup and another finals appearance since the trade.

As of Monday they don't. Nothing can be announced re bozak leafs deal if there is one till Friday at noon. He became a UFA on Monday and as such cannot sign a deal with anyone till noon July 5 - burn
Are you sure?
I think he's still Leafs property, it's just that anyone can talk to him. About the weather, and what he had for lunch, apparently. |

I feel like the way kessels playmaking has picked up makes him one of the better offensive players in the league .... And his d- fence has gotten better ( not saying much) - The_Vark
it has I would say this had made him arguably a top 10-15 player in the league |

Improving? They'll start the year without Horton, Seguin, Peverley and Jagr. They're much worse not, IMO. - djamon
they got some really good prospects and eriksson is another great two way centre so i think overall they will be better for it. but i hope not... |

I think the bruins won this trade... not sure why people are saying otherwise... wasn't seguin only projected to do what erikssons already doing? and morrow is supposed to be a stud... peverly hurts now but hes replaceable since the market is flooded with 3rd line centre men now - DarcyTucker16
Seguin scored 67 points at 19 years old, his past season wasn't even that bad, he's now 21 years old. It was more about Julien not utilizing him the correct way, he's capable of outscoring everyone on the current Bruins roster, capable of becoming a franchise player, he is only 21. You don't trade a young guy with that potential for a 27 year old guy that will probably start to decline after 30. The Bruins will regret this trade bigtime once this guy matures over the next couple of years. First Joe Thornton, now this? I feel bad for Bruins fans. They're only getting older. |

They were when they were together, and often split because Quinn liked a balanced lineup. |

WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Jets have signed the only other unrestricted free agent general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff seemed eager to retain this year — backup goaltender Al Montoya.
No, he wasn't. |
