The way I see it, we finished 5th with Grabovski giving us nothing. He was pretty much a net zero to us last year.

Anybody we can add that could give us 20-30 points on the third line is already an upgrade.

As of right now Eriksson is a better player than Seguin. They give up a decent amount of age with this trade though.

You are honestly kidding yourself if you think Bolland was traded for to play the 3rd line. Look at CHI depth compared to ours. Christ we are entertaining the thought of signing Bozak for 5mil or more, and even worse Clarkson for 6mil, and he has only had one 30 goal season in what..? the past 9?

I'd probably be looking to trade him because I assume he'd have good value at 3 mil. And he still doesn't really fit here.

But, yeah, if he weren't making so much, we probably would have given him a shot to bounce back this year.

I'd rather have stastny over ribero...... but that's just me and with 1 year left on his contract, you can't tell me it would take that much to get him.
