Well Mr Wedgemeister....... nobody heard of Grabo being bought out until it actually happened. - faceto27
1. Grabbo hasn't been bought out.
2. As soon as he hit waivers, we in fact did hear about it. |

printing money in Philly. Be great to play in Philly - sign for a ton of coin...play a year or two, get bought out and retire. I wish Holmgren was running the company I work for lol |

So far everything Nonis has done has been gold. Well when you compare it to anything Burke the Jerk did.
Lupul - Weiss - Kessel
JVR - Kadri - Clarkson
Mclement - Bolland - Kulemin
Orr - Colborne - Hamilton
Phaneuf - Scuderi
Franson - Gardiner
Gunnerson - Fraser
Bernier
Reimer
Nonis - 1 season - playoffs
Burke - 5 seasons - SQUAT! - Frosty_Nipples
Are you serious?
It was Burkes team and coach that made the playoffs.
Try to think about what you say. |

I think i am going to go home and drink until its Saturday..
Three highest scoring Leafs from 2010-11 onwards: Kessel (198), Grabovski & MacArthur (both 125). They've let two walk for nothing. Amazing. |

Somebody did the math after Bryz was bought out - it worked out to something like $19,000+ per save for the time he spent there. |

I really do question why everybody hated MacArthur.
Seems to me the guy was a pretty reliable 2nd/3rd liner who put up the same amount of points every year. |

Well.. Of course they're going to extend giroux at big money, but use two buyouts, sign to largish contracts before extending giroux? It's like homer really doesn't have any idea that they brought in a salary cap a decade ago. |

Yup.
I have a bad feeling Nonis doesn't have big trade coming.
He is simply clearing room to resign the RFA's and overpay Clarkson....the next leaf to disappoint.

The contract doesn't come into effect until next season. Philly seems to be in the habit of living for today and deal with the next season's cap when the problems arrive.
On the topic of Grabovky: (frank)! (frank)! (frank)! (frank)! (frank)! |

They do what the flyers do, the roster is always in turmoil. Doesnt matter who you have playing forward, if your goalies blow you arent going far. They know that first hand. |
