The Montreal Canadiens have made a significant coaching hire, adding Stephane Waite as their new goalie coach.

If Bozak leaves there is a chance that Kessel might not want to stay, right? What are people's thoughts on trading Kessel for that elusive first line centre that we so dearly need. Because, let's face it, we aren't able to attract one in free agency, we won't be able to get one via trade without giving up some significant value and it's unlikely we get help via the draft if we're picking in the late teens or into the twenties, at least not immediate help. |

The Leafs are buying out Mikhail Grabovski. 2nd compliance buyout. - LeafMan
As long as we're getting an upgrade of some kind it's not a bad move. If it's to sign Bozak for more than $4mil a season it's a poopty move. |

"ESPN's Pierre LeBrun indicates that besides the Stars, Detroit, St. Louis, Calgary and Anaheim have expressed interest in Bozak, but that Toronto is still in mix."
My parents don't let me stay up late enough to watch those teams, so I ask for the opinions of those who are more familiar:
For each team, where does Blozak sit on the depth chart?
Like, why in the hell would Anaheim want him? |

Wow..don't like his contract, and I've criticized him a lot, but he plays his heart out every game. Now we're destined to either make a trade or overpay for Weiss... and possibly overpay Clarkson.. |

Then we'll need a winger for our new 1st line center. The Leafs probably wouldn't get fair value in return for Kessel though so I'd rather they kept him. I don't even want to think about trading him lol. |
