Liles is tradeable... or at very least could play bottom pairing for Leafs.

Beauchemin is a lovely example Nonis could use as a "bad fit" in Toronto Liles might be a Norris candidate with a fresh start

Buyouts are only lottery winnings if they get another contract. If not, 2/3 as much money as could have been had.

If there's a condition that keeps him from making up that other 1/3, sucky for him.

I think Nonis just realizes that with these buyouts, this is now his team. All the dirty laundry left over by BB is now gone, and if he's careful, he can solidify the core for years to come

The only minor trade that was made for playoffs was O'byrne but that was a minor small move to add depth to our defense pushing into playoffs
