I'd prefer McClement, Bolland and Clarkson. - TML60
Lupul Kadri Clarkson would do wonders. Clarkson clearing room for the other two
Kulemin Bolland wait and see |

Do people think before they panic about needing space to extend kessel and phaneuf?
If kessel were to get 7.5 mil, the team needs an additional 2 mil in space. Not 7.5, 2. Armstrong and tucker coming off the books clears that space alone.
Phaneuf probably gets extended around where he's at now if he's still here. Even if he were to get ridiculously overpaid.. It would take an extra 1.5 mil in cap space to bring him up to 8.

Yup. I even think Kadri signs a bridge two year type deal. Seems to be the norm at the moment. Plus, let's see you after 82 games before we really give you your payday |

I liked Grabovski, he was a serviceable player, better then Bozak in my opinion. Not his fault that Burke gave him that ridiculous contract, wish he was making 4 million per year so it would make more sense to keep him, but at 5.5 it never made sense. Wish him well on his next team, he's a great 2nd liner. He'll regain his form, just with a more reasonable contract. |

I just figured it out...
Nonis is targeting players who have the hottest wives/girlfriends...
Martine Forget was just the beginning... The leafs will now get a player who has a smoking hot wife... Book It! |

it sucks that it came to this with him and macarthur. could have traded both for a 1st a few years back and now one walks for free and we pay the other to leave |

Boston would lose their poop.
That's why Clarkson, Fraser, MacClaren, Orr, Tyson and David Ling should be in the lineup those games. |

The cap going up next year frees up even more cap space. You just proved my point further. If they fit under the cap as is, additional cap comes with a riding ceiling, and buyouts coming off the books, there's no reason to panic about finding room for extending them. And that's assuming the team spends to the ceiling this summer.
And really? I wasn't trying to be a smartass, I was implying that logic be used. Is that an offense? I get the sensitivity with some of the crap that goes on, but geeez. Relax.
