Get ready for more Boston poop. They ship out Seguin for picks and prospects, sign Grabbo for 2nd line. Bergeron 3rd line, as they pretty much role 4 lines. Grabbo will do very well in Boston, with his cycle ability and never say die attitude

Grabo to Detroit (c3)

Dave Nonis = Mickey Mouse

Buy out Grabo after Carlyle pretty much benches him to the 3rd line for 40 out of 48 games??? WTF?

Leafs = Joke

Sign Bozak and we will be lucky to finish 10th in the division.

Gonna be a sad year...

- Garnie

TBF it depends why the move was made. In a couple of days we should know

Maybe Carlyle didn't like him, and Nonis is listening to his coach?

Whether or not Grabo was sick this last season... he didn't play well for us, and wasn't an impact player. He was pretty awesome before that, and may rebound... however, from last year to this year, losing Grabo isn't a big loss.

Grabovski has no chemistry with anyone, puck hog, glad hes gone, Calgary should scoop him up for like 3 mill
- PinkSock

Hopefully so, he and Baert would be good together.

If we sign bozak, our team at the center position probably got fairly worse, since grabo is the better player than bozak at center. And secondly the money going to bozak would be a waste. If we sign weiss, the buyout was a waste since weiss is pretty much the same as grabo. So the only logical explanation is Nonis has a trade up his sleeve to bring in a proper centerman OR Bozak has finally come to a reasonable term

Well, if there is a trade in the works it should be announced soon. You don't do that unless the trade is certain to go down. Otherwise Nonis is a (frank)ing retard imbecile incompetent piece of poop.

So it's gotta be #2.

Because Nonis isn't stupid enough to go with Bozak at an inflated price. He just can't be.

As for your final point, it is a fact that there are no players in the Hockey Hall of Fame with hyphenated names.

Think about it.

Still hoping for #1 ....but for all the Clarkson fans out there this has to be good news.

Joe's coming home??

- faceto27

I was always in the Thornton+ for Dion+ camp.

I think it'd benefit both teams.

We'd obviously need a Dman back, maybe Vlasic or something, but I think it'd work.

Hell, I'd rather have Joe over Vinny

Because he's not very good.

We will never win with him.

He's not a #1 centre - he lacks offensive skills.

He's not a #2 centre - see above.

He's not a #3 centre - he lacks the size, grit and heart.

So where the hell does the guy get off demanding an 8-year contract?

That's for superstars.

He's not even a star.

He's not good.

The Leafs will never win with him. That's why I don't want him on the roster - and sure as hell not for over $3.5 million a year.

Does that answer your question?

- Atomic Wedgie

really? I don't know what bozie has done to you but you hate him wayyyy to much to give him any credit at all.

Easy tiger.

There's still a lot of questions to be answered. It's not like Grabs' presence was essential to us making the playoffs. Plus I really think Colborne's ready to become a full-time NHLer

- AngryWhiteMale

They'd have to be reeeaaaal confident in Colborne to assume he can just jump into the lineup in a top-6 role, and effectively replace Bozak/Grabo.

They can't afford to re-sign Schenn (RFA after next yr).
Frees up Coburn's high hit for the next three yrs.
Phaneuf and McClement are both UFA's after next yr, and if Phaneuf is like this yr, they can re-sign him at a Coburn number.

Problem solved.
