Via twitter some names that are popping out from credible guys.
Nystrom, Macarthur, Labarbra((frank) if i can spell that name), Khubodin, - Lahey
i know it's probably good to take some proven players, but i like the idea of acquiring hidden gems.

Fore reference:
7 out of 78 imports drafted this year to the CHL were Swedes. From what I could see, only one of them wasn't 18 already. It's not clear that any Swedes were planning on coming over as 17 year olds anyway - Morris
So not really a big deal.
It's funny though you really think if it applied that Sweden would say no to the likes of guys like Barkov and Landeskog? |

Here's the only way we get Clarkson (spoilers: you're not going to like it).
Year 1: 11 million
Years 2-7: 3.5 million
Total 7 years, 32 million (4.5 cap hit) - Morris

exactly, but what could we offer him? He's going to get straight 5.5 over 6 years from somebody.
Front-loading could be the new backloading. Actually I guess front-loading is the norm now
(I'm not saying this is a good idea btw. ) |

I can understand when you're talking about u18s in junior, but it seems a little drastic to try to force their hand from go to the pros. |

I was more thinking if they were 17 would they exclude them from the WJC? |

Yeah but I could see a guy like Lindholm delaying going to the NHL if they mean that he'll never be able to play internationally for Sweden again (WC, olympics, etc.)
Admittedly I don't know the extent of the ban. |

Add a prospect like Pitlick to get that deal done. Jenner gives me a Booner
Also, if Umberger struggles, complian buyout next year but we get a near NHL ready 6'2 205 pound centre that plays two way hockey! |

I don't know that it's the worse thing for these guys to spend another year in the SEL against men. |

What does it take to get Kassian out of Vancouver? The fans seem to be ambivalent about him. Let's reunite him with Hall and see if we can't recreate some of the Windsor magic. |

No, not necessarily. Landy misses out on the Calder, but it's not like Colorado was really putting him to amazing use or anything. |

I can't see them trading him to us. They wanted a lot for Schenider because of divisional play, I have to think they think the same about kassian. |

I don't see why either or moved unless they are getting a homerun.
Johansen while rushed in 11-12, was real good in Springfield during the lockout. Which is a good sign. To me just shows he needs a bit more maturity as a player. |

Stan Bowman himself said that the team will not rush Raanta and he needs to get acclimated with playing in America.
They will send him to Rockford where he will get the experience necessary before he is brought up. He's 24-years-old so he's a pretty young goalie, meaning there is no hurry.
Ray Emery will likely net himself a three-year contract, but it'll - TommyHawk[hopefully] be with the Blackhawks.
