I'm saying that Gagner is proposed in 98% of cloutier's trade blogs. Paajarvi in 96%.

I don't think I saw a Horcoff trade for a year or so until MacT made the decision to move him.

I agree with you though. That's probably why we're going to avoid looking for high end assets. Depth moves would do the team the most good.

Although in all fairness is it really a big deal? Gives more spots to canadians in the CHL. How many Swedes are there really in the CHL in the first place.

If Clarkson could get 4 out of 6 I'd be thrilled. I don't even know that he has 1 year at 5+mil though. Guy is very very streaky.

In all honesty, I don' t see any of those players going to EDM.

What I do see, is Bryzgalof going to the Oilers and Carlo Colaiacovo. I would even say MacArthur too.

I have said this a million times... you want a big name going to EDM, trade one of your so-called wonderstuds. Put one of Eberle, Hall, JNH or Yakopov on the trading block and I'll GUARANTEE you will get a real player in return. Even Gagner could get you something decent.
Stop mentioning Horcoff, Hemsky, Smid, Omark... blah blah blah... No one wants these guys!! If there was a market for these guys it would have happened already.

Final prediction - Horcoff will get bought out. Hemsky will be traded for draft picks or packaged with another player.

Fore reference:

7 out of 78 imports drafted this year to the CHL were Swedes. From what I could see, only one of them wasn't 18 already. It's not clear that any Swedes were planning on coming over as 17 year olds anyway
