2nd pairing'd be solid after Schultz has 2 seasons under his belt. Klefbom-Gilbert'd get pretty soft minutes, but I think they'd fair well

I don't want Klefbom there but having Coburn on the 2nd and Gilbert on the 3rd is better than a lot of teams can come up with. Boston had a rotation of rookies and depth defenseman on there's.

Good deal for both teams. Not sure what the (frank) Button is doing in the deal though.

DAL probably wins this deal today and will have no regrets if Morrow turns out to be as good as he should. Boston while taking a hit on talent now, get cap space and some decent young depth.

Obviously, but I'm arguing that that since we lack a legit top pairing and top pairing guys aren't available that we'll have to do things differently and spread the wealth on the bottom 2 pairings and get guys that are available and do improve our defense. If your pairings are Smid-Petry, Coburn/other top 4 D-J.Schultz, Gilbert/other veteran top 4 ish guy-Solid vet/DevelopedKlefbom, then you have three decent pairings that can hold the fort.
