Cool so is Gags now not coming back? Because with this signing all forward pisitions are filled if Laughton plays wing.
- coffee junkie

Gags was a long shot at best as soon as we signed Lecavalier.

Who knows so much speculation right now. Tim P said homer told him he wasn't resigning Hall after the season ended soooo...

Giroux can score a point per game for the next 5 years and folks will still complain about the deal.

#1 centers scoring a point per game don't grow on trees.

Might be a fake twitter account.

Pierre LeBrun ‏@Real_ESPNLeBrun 6h

Ray Emery very likely moving on from Chicago, looking for bigger role, chance at 1 or 1a spot. I'd put Philly as front-runner.

Could be, I dont know how all that works, says he has 200,000 followers and all, I am new to this twitter crap.

Sorry did we resign Hall? Does that mean no Gagne?
- JAKEw1234

I believe so. Unless trades are made. Laughton if he makes the team plays 4th or 3rd LW with Talbot as the alternative.

Gags was 50/50 to come back depending on where he put his price range. This is bittersweet, as I love Gagne, but Hall is the better defensive guy and is pretty good on faceoffs as well.

Schenn was going to end up as a winger anyway. Laughton can come up playing wing (like I said, it's how Giroux came up). Talbot played mostly wing last year. As for D, there are 7 players slated to be defenseman for opening night. Chances are one will be gone by Saturday morning.

Everyone needs to stop worrying.

- jmatchett383

G was a winger in junior and converted to center when he made it to the Flyers. Scott is a center and you shouldn't convert to wing if you can play center. There's no real need to rush him.

Am I missing something? We resigned Hall? So we have Giroux, Schenn, Couterier, Talbot, Lecavier, Hall and Laughton who are going to play center for us. I know some can play wing, it still too many. And 9 defense men as well. Is there a trade I'm missing?
- Deasr1

talbot is a winger
schenn can play wing
laughton can actually develop like in those other organizations that we're all supposedly so jealous of

I just worry that the juniors have nothing left to teach him and he doesn't grow very much this year. In the case of prospect development, if you aren't going forwards, you're going backwards.

Supposedly we want another scoring forward
The Flyers plans seem confusing to me so far, but all I can say is "In Homer we trust"

Bittersweet for sure. Gags is close to the end of his career IMHO. LA wouldn't even play him.

How the hell does edm land Phillipe Larsen and a 7th for horcoff? I thought this Dallas GM was a Detroit product? This doesn't sound very savy

I don't think the front office has a plan for Laughton to play in the AHL. I think Coots is gone for a dman and Cob urn and read are gone for a top notch winger for G
