With Tortorella screaming at the all the primadonnas and floppers on the Canucks I really can't see that happening. Not to mention I really think the sisters are gonna walk after the year is done. - Ihatebrianburke
Where too? If they leave, I think they leave the NHL. |

I like you. Flames got Monahan... good step - Oilers4Life14
If they're able to pick up Seguin without giving up Monahan look out in a couple years. But until then Calgary is gonna suck regardless. I think Feaster is gonna sign enough high priced ufa's to take themselves out of contention for real high pick again though. |

Clouts is like George Kastanza...he should think about his predictions, and then say the exact opposite. 3 reasons why Horcoff remains an Oiler.
1. He is still one of the top 15 or 20 3C's in the league.
2. Might not be able to move him.
3. Might not be able to find a suitable replacement.
Bonus:
4. It will Cloutier Bananas - Jeropotato

I've suggested they would have to put in Baertshi and a 1st rounder. Might be worth it. Then you run Seguin - Monahan. Considering they drafted two wingers in the first round this year, maybe it's a logical choice. |

I agree with this completely. I understand we need to be patient but seriously, how long is too long? It's been too slow. Which makes me think at the same time that there's something big being established right now. |

You need to add more. The Sedins are too good for just those players. |

I feel like in a few years if Gillis timed it right and was ready to turn the tide into rebuild mode he could trade the Sedins for a HUGE package to a team like Nashvhille or Columbus whose ready to make that next step. Like two 1sts, teams 3 best prospects and 2 decent players to provide veteran leadership during the rebuild transition. |

I don't think they'd get the roster players. I'd use Jarome's deal as a comparable for each player.
Late 1st + 2 B/C prospects for each of the Sedins. Maybe they get a discount for buying in bulk

I don't think they'd leave the league at all but I do think they'll walk. They're not gonna like Tortorella at all. I could see them going to a team in a win now situation. Maybe to be back with AV in New York. Think of all the room Rick Nash would be able to create for the two of them on a line. It would be sick. |

Baertchi and Calgary's 2014 1st would be close. Calgary would probably have to add something else small. Good deal for both teams I think. Boston needs serious cap relief and this would do it |

I wouldn't say too slow up to this point. however I would say that a big leap needs to be taken next year. clouts' version of the way he sees oilers management thinking about next season is way off imo.
