Is anyone else surprised how many waiver to buyouts have happened? I really expected to see more lopsided trades for teams with cap space.
I guess there are still teams like PHI out there. 2 major buyouts and they immediatley go back over the cap

Not really to be honest. What I find funny is that in the end the players getting bought out are going to do better or break even. Such a flawed system.
After reading all the different insiders the past couple weeks what shocks me is that their isn't a reward for teams that don't use compliance buyouts. Sounds like a lot of teams were against them, which makes me question why 2 and not 1? Great for the fans I guess.
Personally I would've done something like 1 compliance buyout every five years. You don't use it you get a bonus 1st rounder.
