GAgner to the wing was used before, not to the highest success rate.

As of right this moment the Flyers are close to 1/2 M OVER cap. LTIR Pronger and they get to about 4.5M under.

Still need a #1 goalie. TT will eat 3-4M of that, minimum. Any guy they bring in will eat most of that 4.5.

Really! One thing that many don't understand, is that Capgeek guesstimates who will be on the roster. It is not entirely accurate. The Flyers are going to move one of their defenseman. Most likely Meszaros. That will create Cap needed.

And placing a player on LTIR, does not get any team under. By it's very definition, using LTIR means you are over the Upper LImit.

The Flyers need Pronger on LITR just to get under the cap.

Timonen is still a part of the team this year. Next year means nothing as of right now.

2M under the Cap? That's a ton for a Cap team like the Flyers. Do you know what you can do with 2M of Cap space banked all Season at the trade deadline?

If you do that, you move Seguin to centre, his natural position. Then you maybe consider moving Gagner for a Dman or RW with size and grit.

Gagner + a pick/prospect for a Stewart/Voracek/Simmonds/Bruower or sign Ryder or Mueller to play right side.
