But he did produce as a rookie playing mostly on the 4th line
Contributed a lot more than Scott ever could
Gerbe was one of our best players down the stretch when we went on that run that got us into the playoffs

I'd rather have him play 8min a game & let one of the kids play 20min in Rochester
If we're bringing someone up to play on the 4th line I just don't see the point

Scott and Gerbe have 2 different roles on the team. Scott is not here to be a goal scorer, Gerbe is(was). And Gerbe is no longer effective at it for the Sabres so off he went.

Go back and watch the Sens game where they dressed Kassian and Neil. Scott wast dressed. What happened? They ran around like morons all game long. Robin Regher had to fight Neil. That proves my point right there. Ask any NHL player who they would rather have? A 5'5 player who scores maybe 20 Pts a season or a 6'7 enforcer who scores 3 if we are lucky and dresses for 20 games but has their back all the time. They would pick the enforcer every time

Hes scored once in his entire career, I have a better chance of winning the lottery than John Scott scoring 3 times in a season.

If we get one of those three in 2014, it's unlikely we'll be bad enough or lucky enough to get McDavid in 2015.

Except ennis is better then max 10x, Max was a waste. All he did was coast from one blue line to the next as a puck hog,lose the puck which would then result in a goal against game after game. Not to mention his only goals where is patent whip the puck at the net from bad angles after hogging the puck if he did not lose it.

I am not any less positive... I have never thought of Ennis as some sort of super talent. He is fast, loses the puck on a regular basis. and does not score more than a 4th line player..... I do not like him on this roster
