It's not a love fest at all. Some of you guys want it both ways. When Darcy does nothing you say he's lazy and doesn't know what he's doing. Then when he actually does something that makes sense, he has no class. Stay on one side of the fence for longer than a week at least. - hbcamp1820
Technically that's two distinct issues to whine about.
Darcy's player movement activity performance

"another class move by Darcy, let the player find out he lost his job on twitter
the free agents will be lining up to come work here
just sad that a GM doesn't have the courtesy to make a phone call
no class, don't care who the player is"

Wow, so even if he traded a 3rd round pick for Getzlaf you wouldn't praise that move? jaded. |

I agree 1,000,000,000% (yep, that's right) with the Gerbe buy-out, but Darcy could have called the kid first. - Powerslave
In this day in age when you know who's getting drafted in the NFL draft before the pick is even in, how do you know he didn't plan on it. Maybe it leaked before Darcy had a chance. Just saying. |

John Vogl @BuffNewsVogl 29m
I asked Nathan Gerbe what he would change about Sabres' organization. This next tweet will be his complete answer. (2/3)
John Vogl @BuffNewsVogl
"I think we need to do a better job of supporting guys. I think confidence is 95 percent of this game. It really is. As an organization you can’t squash guys’ confidence every single day, and I think you’ve got to realize that everyone in this room, if they’re confident, you’re going to have a good team. You guys see a stretch of someone having confidence, and then you see a stretch of someone not having a confidence, and it’s a world of difference in a player. It’s not a different player, it’s confidence in the game. That’s so important to each individual. We’ve got to do a better job of that.
"If guy’s playing well, reward them. If they don’t, talk to them. Don’t just call them out. Everyone sees it in every sport. Confidence is far beyond anything you can imagine.
"I try to stay as positive as I can and as confident as I can, but sometimes you need the support around you to help." |

In short, he doesn't think the team needs the accountability we all scream for.
