That's the point. Briere is a known commodity in the playoffs. He's a big question for regular season.

So are Plekanec and Briere combining to make one player?

- RENATO6

Tonny Brianec? sounds like a fag.

First of all, assuming the Habs will make the playoffs is a stretch... Not saying they won't, but it's not like they're a lock either.
- kev1586

hence why should we even care about his past playoff exploits...what can he do for us going forward?

You really think he scores 13 pts in 11 games with our team? NO...with the Flyers of 2 years ago, sure...

Pat's tweet on Hernandez was great:

#NFL's handling of Aaron Hernandez sends clear message that league is no place for murderers. Rapists, sure. But definitely not murderers.

Will people please shut up about Briere and the playoffs? He'll be two years older than he was during his last playoff appearance...you really think he's gonna be a HUGE DIFFERENCE MAKER at 36?!?
- TouenneTiiTree

Imma let you finish but
Briere has 27 g, 25 assists in last 45 playoff games. Last 3 playoff goal leaders combined for 30 in 65 gms.

This new division alignment is awesome.

At least 4 of these teams makes the playoffs:

Chicago, Minnesota, Nashville, Winnipeg, St Louis, Colorado, Dallas.

Only 4 of these teams makes the playoffs:

Boston, Detroit, Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Buffalo, Florida, Tampa Bay.

I'm just going to play Devil's advocat here for a minute, I'm not a Philly expert, but weren't his linemates Giroux and Hartnell?

If that's the case, play him with Galchenyuk and Prust?
