The Boston Bruins and Dallas stars appear to be closing in a trade that would see two prominent players swap jerseys.

According to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger, the clubs are close to a deal that would see Tyler Seguin heading to Dallas, with Loui Eriksson going to Boston.

TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie reports that he hears the trade is a five-player deal.

Staple in his DP article said Snow is looking for a goalie and two forwards via free agency or trade. I would think Grabs #2 would fit our style of play well but he doesn't exactly have a reputation of playing hard all the time.

I think Botta is right...I think they will bring in a goalie and forward...while I would love to see another defenseman Snow is probably thinking by January'2014, Pedan or Mayfield might be ready to be brought up from Bridgeport and he'll need openings...if they get a dman I would think it would be for 1 year...

Ray Emery very likely moving on from Chicago, looking for bigger role, chance at 1 or 1a spot. I'd put Philly as front-runner.

You and I have been going back and forth on twitter...do you think Snow would rather keep the 8 he has...so he has some spots on the Islanders the following year for some of his prospects (Pedan, Mayfield, deHaan or Reinhart) ?

I love the guy to be honest..I think we have some nice grit now but 100% agree Asham over Boulton any day...I just figure he will go to the Caps now and complete the Patrick division tour
