The two seasons with the Otters (all that's on hockeydb.com) were very similar, and don't look like they necessitate the slip. There must be something else...

Actually, at that age and starting season on McDavid's line, a similar stat line meant regression at a time he should have taken a big step ahead. Knock on him is that he's soft and one-dimensional (and can be zero-dimensional in games when he's not involved offensively).

Great book.
- 77rams

Another great book was written by Tillie Pierce. It is a story of the battle from the perspective from the towns people. Her family made the mistake of leaving thier house on baltimore street to a relatives house, which ended up being right on the other side of little round top, and became a field hospital for the union. She was really young... so horrible.

Duvall wasn't in Gettysburg, he was in the prequel, Gods and Generals. Martin Sheen played Lee in Gettysburg

The book by Michael Shaara is also fantastic The Killer Angels

Sounds like he has a team if he's played for the St. John's Icecaps in the AHL.
- JAKEw1234

He signed for a 10 day contract with the St.John's Ice Caps at the end of his Junior season. It was more of a promo thing where the kid is actually from St.John's. He played one game and only about 3 mins game time. I'm from St.John's as well and I think and hear that he's got all kinds of skill

Even before this confusion was revealed, the PHWA had already planned a study of our voting process. At our annual meeting in New York, a committee was formed to look at all voting issues, including transparency and eligibility. The committee includes Mark Spector (Sportsnet.ca), Craig Custance (ESPN.com), Mike Russo (Minneapolis Star-Tribune), Nick Cotsonika (Yahoo.com), Bruce Garrioch (Ottawa Sun) and Frank Seravalli (Philadelphia Daily News).

That group will also review this situation to see what can be done to eliminate this in the future.

I'm coming out of left field with another random name, I know butt, I really like jake gardiner. He was in the dog house in Toronto last year and he may be untradeable without couts or schenn on the table. But if it was do-able, i'd make a big push for this gardiner kid as a puck moving d-man

I brought up his name awhile ago
I like him, but I think we should trade Coburn, Read, and picks for an older #1 or #2 dman. This would bridge the gap between now and when our D prospects are NHL ready. I think we just need an effective #1 dman for 5 or 6 years, not a decade + like you might get from selling the farm for young guns like Gardiner or Yandle. After 5 or 6 years our youth should be producing in the NHL.
