I think Homer is a gentle lover. He may not smile much, but he's tender hearted. Didn't you see the way he cried when he traded Carter and Richards.
- PhillySportsGuy

I heard they had a hot sauce fight in the GM's meeting before that interview. Homer is so cold, if he were to cry ice cubes would fall out.

Ek... dont tease me with the Bobby Ryan remarks alright? Now you have my mind going crazy!

MY BOLD TRADE PREDICTION!

Coburn/Read/Mezsaros/1st Round Pick for Bobby Ryan/Hiller/6th Round Pick lol ... I dont think we get any defense in return.

- justahockeyguy2

Where did Ek say anything about Ryan? I didn't see any.

Who do you think we get in return in this "big deal" that is coming sometime soon?
- justahockeyguy2

1) either Coburn for Dubynak

2) Miller and Vanek for.... something...

3) Couturier, Coburn for Phaneuf.

I always wondered when Bobby Ryan became this superstar player that we should trade a boatload for to acquire? That's what I want to know.

I don't know how or when. but he will.

His grandmother moved out of my town recently. That should help him be less "local."
- Flyskippy

But he still sleeps on the knee press machine in Bobby Clarke's NJ gym during the off season.

Only 'cause he's tired from helping Grandma rehab her leg with the knee replacement.

Can you imagine the calamity that would ensue here is Phaneuf was traded here, then the Flyers sign DiPierto, and trade for Patrick Kaleta.

What would you do?

He put out an annoying tweet about how he thought Vinny would take number 9 and maybe they are holding it open for Ryan.....then he did the annoying "just kidding or am I".. I would literally punch him if I saw him for that one

Is the general feeling that the FLyers might have an inkling that Mason is their goalie of the future? We've heard enough praise for him from them and comments like "we've had our eye on him for a couple years" make me believe that it is so.

Whether he is or not is the question to be answered. But I ask because I assume if so this precludes them from making an attempt at grabbing a potential franchise type goalie.

I'm leading somewhere here.....does Ottawa take any sort of deal to pry Lehner out of their system? If there's one goalie I'd make a package including one of the kids for, its him.

What about Boston, they have 2 good goalies behind Rask. Subban, and whatever that other kids name is.
