I think the Flyers will surprise a few this year. They have some key players in contract years (G, Mason, Couturier, Brayden Schenn, and Read). If all these players are playing for a raise and their next contract, could be a dangerous team.

if he's a the point where they'll buy him out, edm could get him cheap to play the 3rd pair with say klefbom or belov.

Gilbert was EDM's #1 in 2011-2012. He was victim to playing with clayton stoner all year n having an abysmal .877 on ice sv%.

He's an upgrade on N Schultz-Potter-Klefbom at this point.
