I can't help but think maybe Stan is a far better GM than any of us dared hope. You can't argue with the results this year and he seems to have a To Do list that he is plowing through quite efficiently his off season. Hard to believe last summer I (like many) was calling for his head. |

Assuming we sign Kruger, Rozsival, and Emery, what are the chances we sign a ufa to come in and sure up our 4th line depth? Or is there still a chance we can bring in a possible 2C, and not sign Rozsival or Emery? Is there a chance Zus still comes back? |

CapGeek still not showing the Leddy deal. They are usually pretty quick with those. |

The only thing I am hooing is that the Hawks want to announce Emery Kruger and Leddy at the exact same time. Have a difinative cap space # Friday morning.
I hope I'm right.
Hendricks for 4th line center.
Hopefullu Rozy back in the top 6 on D. |

You might be sad, but not me. Wanted him gone a year ago.
But thanks for the Cup winner Rat! That was a memorable way to go out. |

Don't blame you...he kicked the SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHIT out of enough Hawks during that time to leave quite an impression...
BUT..
Thanks to Dollar Bill, Pully and most importantly....HIMSELF...Probie turned his life around in Chicago

If Stan signed Leddy for under $2.5m, resigns Emery for $1.5 then Bickell is a wash.
If he can get Rosi to stay for under $3m and get Hammer an extension with room for a UFA or 2 he cements himself in the elite gm's of the league. Krueger I think is a given to be a reasonable deal. |

Do you watch the games on video after?
How did they organization decide on a bird and not Chief Blackhawk?

I am guessing a big Indian would set off some politically correctness alarms. Some people find portrayals of Indians offensive.

Love the Sox (and they are a trainwreck right now aren't they), my father's side of the family from Beverly... but really appreciate what Theo and Jed are doing on the Northside...
Gapgeek still not showing the Leddy deal, but pleased that Stan hung onto easily his best move as GM. Cap implications not anything as bad this offseason, plus Stan has the 1000 yard stare from the Hammer deal to keep him focused.
Would love to see Briere for a small cap hit...but think Carcillo and Brookbank would/should need to go to make it happen. |
