you are right, i agree with you, but it is sad to see bolland go.

Emery owes it to himself to find the best deal into the future to allow him to retire. It is all found money for him with that hip injury. I really hopes he can find a place to play. Not sure he would even want to risk being a 50 game a year starter. Nothing wrong with being Martin Biron in New York, I believe that is his name.

A ton of respect for Mr. Emery. Would love him back, but totally understand him doing what is best for him.

Nothing against Max Pacioretty but how Razor never was awarded the Masterton is mind boggling.Most people here have read the same articles about his whole battle through the hip injury ordeal.Pretty safe bet that we can't imagine half of what it was like.Best of luck to him and I hope he stays a Hawk.

Hardly, for the record. I stood by CC when it was conventional wisdom to get the goalie to get you over the top.

I stood by the roster, stating numerous times it is the teams level of compete that will matter more than treating half the guys like fragile dolls. Felt the 24 game streak and record overall actually meant something.

I went to Bishop Noll and was primarily an Independent leaguer. Also went to high school in Florida. Longgg story....lots of bouncing around. Lived in South Chicago, Cal City, Lansing, Crete....

Good stuff, my grandma lived in Sauk Village, I lived with her for a while in high school and college. Now the Heights well. Mt Carmel great school. My uncle lives behind Prarie state.

Led Pipe (his twitter handle) got a nice raise i'm sure and a chance to showcase his talent for 2 more years with the best franchise in hockey. If he progresses as expected, he'll set himself with a life changing deal next time around....and that's IF he progresses.
