He stabilizes our goons...not to mention, he's pretty good at draws.

And if the argument is sign Bozie b/c he's cheap and it lets them spend on other positions (god do they need a dman) then I totally get that. Wouldn't love it but I get it.

But the raw argument that they can't really get better (other than with a big dollar franchise guy) so spend on Bozie - i can't get behind that.

No, me neither. If I'm spending big money on Bozak, I'd rather have a true "big fish". I'd rather give 6+ to Stastny than 5+ to Bozak.

But, if Bozak comes in significantly cheaper than the next best option, then go with him and buy-out Grabo.

What Bozak signs for is a total mystery at this point, though. I don't think he'll get the pay cheque he thinks he will.

I think the point was that the top line really has nowhere to go. We'd shift to another focus, like shoring up the D or adding size to the wing.

I think it can be much better ....just not measured by Kessels points.

If next week Grabo is bought out and Bozak is signed at less than 4/yr and that money is used to shore up other positions .....then I get it ...i can support that.

I think the Kadri/Clarkson/Lupul line will be great. Kadri will even get better playing with Clarkson. He'll probably have more room.
