If we get Bozak I would imagine Grabo is gone..... If its for 4.5 million then we save a million for the next 4 years... in 5 years 4.5 probably wont be that big of a hit on the cap (it should go up), so even if Bozak is third line by then because Bolland is gone it shouldn't be too bad paying him to 35

For that extra million, money doesn't matter.
With Bozak locked, we won't be competitive enough.
I'd rather keep Grabo at 5.5 than Bozak at 4.5. Because, for overall value, Grabo is worth closer to 5.5 than Bozak is to 4.5

To add to that, you also have to regard team needs.
Most likely, in a year (maybe two), Kadri will be a solid #1, and we'll need a 2. Grabo is a better 2 than Bozak.

Bozak can't play 3 because he's not gritty enough and his defensive skills aren't even that great. Not to mention we already have 2 other 3C's in Colbourne and the Gotchier kid we just got

I am not going to argue the value of Bozak vs Grabo... that seems to be a personal preference depending to who we talk to on here.......

However 1 million dollars is a huge difference in a contract negotiation
