Exactly. But Im reading on NHL.com, (Kinda, its actually the news section on the gamecenter app) that it is a compliance buyout.

I think that's the point... they did this because they plan on using it.

Can also use the reverse..... We dont use it this year on Komi and eat cap space and it cost us a player we wanted this summer. Saving it for Liles and Grabo next year and they both rebound.
