Positano on the Amalfi coast is beautiful and Rome rocks. Do the mafia still run Naples?

Yes it is, I like to stay away from the main tourist spots now, I like the little towns and villages, almost time for another visit.

If we aren't able to get a 1C, I'm all for giving Kadri the shot. Don't see why not. JVR/Kadri/Kessel. You got the big body (JVR), you got the hands & the play maker (Kadri), and you got the sniper & finisher (Kessel). Then on the 2nd line: Lupul/Grabovski/Clarkson.

Leafs dont need to do anything if its not in their favor. Keep'er steady lads.

Could see a 5th, serviceable 6th dman, 1.25 cap hit.

For the record, I like Bolland, I just don't understand where Nonis is going if he's not looking to buyout Grabo, or make an attempt to trade him. I'm for Bolland being on the team if the Leafs trade Grabo, but if we plan on keeping Grabo, I'm not, just doesn't make much sense as of now.

????
Kadri
Bolland
McClement

That should be the lineup, with us looking to add to our 1st line, but if Grabo's on the team, I'm confused, where's Kadri playing? Where's Grabo playing? Kadri should be holding down the 2nd line, not ready for the 1st, and Grabo isn't a 1st line centerman...So who plays 1st line?

- ThePresident

Furthermore, why is there any talk at all about Bozak? Isn't it a forgone conclusion that he is no longer going to be playing for the Leafs?
Where would he fit in to all this if reports that Nonis is still interested in bringing him back?????

I take it you've never negotiated anything.
- Canada Cup

He's completely in over his head man, if he signs a contract with a team like that, yeah he'll make money, but his career is over. Instant buyout candidate, whipping boy, bad contract. Fans and the media will tear him apart. Highly overvaluing himself.

Big problem when we go, too many relatives that want to see you, so you have to do the tour of duty first.

The acquisition of David Bolland over the weekend potentially gives Toronto three centers in Grabovski, Bolland and Nazem Kadri, so they will not be in desperate straits if they do not land Bozak or any of the big fish in free agency(Stephen Weiss or Vincent Lecavalier)

other than Kadri on that list, I'm not overly impressed. We're still missing a 1st line center.

kadri or bolland will be my guess.. potentially grabo

depends on who the other winger is.. prolly wont see grabo and jvr on the same line.. both are guys who like going to the net (well JVR is now)

wouldnt be shocked to see kadri in that role if his linemates are JVR and kessel

if its lupul instead of JVR, then grabo

if the rumours about clarkson are true this is how I see things shaking out

Lupul Grabovski Kessel
JVR Kadri Clarkson
Kulemin Bolland _______
Orr McClement _______

I would CERTAINLY go back...and my favorite part was the time spent on the coast in the little villages. Took scooter rides to the different parts, had different foods and wines from place to place. The food is as beautiful as the sights. Everything was fresh. Everything.

I doubt that is the case.
Gillis was screwed and he knew it. He had no choice, he had no options with Lou.

How bad does he look now that the Islanders are buying out Dipietro?

I'm disapointed the leafs havn't used their financial might to their advantage trading for a player in need of a buyout. I.e, something like

Komisarek/Liles, our first (Gauthier) for Dipietro and Strome.

That would have made me sooo happy

Just hate to see Nonis not upgrade the 1st line center spot, when he has some pretty good opportunities right now. Oh well, just as long as he doesn't sign Bozak to that ridiculous contract, I guess it'll be fine. The lineup if we go with Grabo will be pretty much like last years, nothing to really get excited about, unless Kadri takes it to the next level and becomes a 1st line centerman. At this point, that's what I'm holding out hope for.

just a thought...cap will be tight after we sign clarkson
