If that's the case, I'd take Clarkson before him.

Every top line needs some grit/toughness. - Orpik44
Clarkson will get north of 5M, maybe even north of 6M. The Pens are not signing him. |

I found this to be a generally fun forum, aside from the 3 days surrounding Flyers/Penguins games.
Plus, I'm married to a Pens fan, so I have an interest in them. - jmatchett383
Ah, that explains it. I wasn't notified of a transfer by the Central Trolling Registry. I like it here, and I've usually found Pens fans to be good sports when it comes to verbal sparring, even around gamedays. |

Oh, just you wait for the first Flyers/Pens game. The Flyers trolls roll in here, the Penguins trolls roll into Meltzer's thread, and things get out of hand quick. |

Well yeah, that's definitely a thing. I like to think I've got cred here, though. I know Oneonta Penguin is really fond of me, at least. |

yeah. all of a sudden all logic and normalcy goes away, replaced by hoping for "that girl cindy to die on the ice" |

Thanks, I thought so too. Funny story:
The first game we went to after finding out she was pregnant was the Flyers/Bruins game for fan appreciation night. At the game, we met with a couple we're friends with, and they asked if it was going to be a Flyers fan or Penguins fan. Long story short, that night, she ended up being the lucky 1/19,000 who got Claude Giroux's jersey off his back. My friends pointed out that it was now a Claude Giroux game-used baby, and destined to be a Flyers' fan. |

Nope, it's framed and hung right next to the Gretzky auto jersey. I tried to do a quick estimate, it would probably fetch about $8500 on the market.
But why would she burn it? |

Because the thought of that hanging in her house makes her want to either vomit or play the Feelin Way Too Damn Good on a loop?
Which, in turn would make her vomit anyway. |

How can you not respect this guy?
http://espn.go.com/boston...ffered-stanley-cup-finals
"In Game 4, my cartilage torn in the corner against [Michael] Frolik, so that's when it started and it obviously escalated because I kept playing and didn't have time to heal it. In Game 5, it was either the first or second shift, I got hit again right on the ribs and that's when I'm sure it cracked and it got worse. I tried to go back in the second and after the second period, the doctors, because the pain escalated, they were worried about the spleen, so we had to go to the hospital [in Chicago] and get it checked and everything was fine."
