I am actually salivating at the thought of a D core with Lauridsen, Morin, and Myers, though. The cost is the only problem for me. What trade would you like to see? With the condition being that BSchenn is going your direction instead of Coots?

I have no idea if they would do a Myers for Schenn & Meszaros deal.

With Buffalo taking about a $2M hit and giving you an extra $1.5M in cap space, they may not do it. They might ask to do Myers for Schenn (plus picks going each way perhaps) and leave Meszaros out of it.

Agreed, especially with goaltending... Bringing in a guy who won the Calder trophy, so the potential is there! Plus he is still young and bringing in a successful veteran like Nabokov or Thomas will do wonders for Mason.

c'mon man. the bryz thing is atrocious and he deserves the razzing. let him make smart moves this off season to get the stink out

Thomas is a fierce competitor and battler... he covers the bottom 1/2 of the net as good as anyone, has a decent glove and can scramble like Hasek....I like his game... I pretty much ignored the whole political B.S. so, I don't care about that...but I'm not married to the idea...I mentioned a few different options.

Crosby is the only thing standing between Shero, Ballsma, and illegitimacy. Stat guys see the points but don't see the choke jobs they've done the past couple of years. Shero keeping Testiclesma as coach is just playing it safe. Once their picks and FA signings dry up and go bust, people will see them for what they are.

Also, still on vacation in California and our waiter at dinner the other night is from Pittsburgh. Got a couple jabs in about Fleury after he brought up the 2012 Flyers/Pens series. It was great. He accepted defeat with honor.

i can agree with this. no matter what the circumstances, the goalie situation is a total mess that looks completely ridiculous. it's not unfair to give him flack for that

and besides, who cares what the media/other fans think? only makes it more satisfying when they succeed (the haters will gloat when they fail whether they mocked the moves beforehand or not)
