Yeah. Those guys deal with a lot of crap due to his blogs. The guy is a total wing nut.

Don't usually read him but since I saw an Isles pix I did; same level as Dee I presume? Better? Worse? Tie?

No to Thomas. Resounding "(frank) no" to Bryzgalov.

He's more knowledgeable which isn't that big a feat but he's completely bat shat crazy. Definitely heavily medicated in some way.

Hey I play in that league. I'd welcome him, I wouldn't mind padding my stats a little.

I think Hogue plays in at Superior in their league. I've seen him coaching at Iceworks a bunch of times though.

So what about Hedberg splitting time with Poulin?

My first choice would be Miller but I don't want to give up what some bloggers have speculated it would take.

That's a great goaltending combination if you didn't enjoy the playoffs this year and don't want to go back.

I don't agree the minimal opportunities Poulin got this year should be his benchmark for the rest of his career. Give him a solid workload before you write him off.

It's not that I'm writing him off, I'm just not ready to hand over 50% of the starts to a kid with 21 NHL games under his belt and the other 50% to an aging, career backup. Poulin should, ideally, be getting 10-12 starts next year behind an actual starting goaltender. Not being thrown into the fire and playing ~40 games.

But when does he get the reigns then? Does he have to sit on the bench for two or three years first? I get it that we should be looking at it from a playoff team view now. I guess I would love to see a drafted goalie grow with the team too.

With all that being said we also have a lot of capspace now. So we should get an established goaltender.

We are still looking to trade Ryan Miller. I think he would do well with the Islanders. Especially if you can extend him 2-3 years.
- Mathwil3

Not for what you think he's worth, we are looking for a stop gap

Have to think after the Nino trade, Isles not looking to trade too many more young pieces. Will probably look at FA's more.

I think the Ducks actually ARE shopping Hiller. We have more than enough goalies. We really need a 2nd line center (like most teams). Is Bailey for Hiller fair/plausible?
- gtrman09

Second line center, real cheap, former Selke finalist? #51

X just opened that bottle of Louis he had saved just for this occasion. Sorry X

Don't be sorry, these are tears of joy!

I'll bet anyone here, whoever signs him (and he will be signed if he chooses to go one with his career) If he faces us... he wins
