Not a fan of Boulton. Doesn't fight barely, doesn't hit, and offers next to nothing to the line up IMO. Clutterbuck and Martin are enough to make him obsolete IMO. - Cptmjl
Yeah there really is no need for Boulton at all. I wonder why the Islanders even resigned him |

I thought they resigned him for another year. I believe he was signed for one year last year |

Would anyone know what exactly is the cap floor amount?
is it $44M or $48M
if the max is $64M.....
Cause I think its closer to the $48M, and if so, Isles have to spend a lot more then what we are assuming.... - Ur Not Me
Between Bailey, Hamonic, Hickey, Poulin and Clutterbuck, you have to assume that they're going to spend at minimum $10M/season to re-sign. That's just for those guys. Could be more. I don't know how much they're going to HAVE to spend to reach the floor because lets face it, they're not spending any more then they are obligated to under the CBA. |

Boulton is fine. He's a spare part, a guy to have out there for the rough stuff, which we all know happens plenty in the Atlantic Division. |

I am 100% that Strome will start on JT wing this year
Unless KO plays well in pre season with JT
Or we sign briere
Or we sign Horton |

Tiger?? Humm...Maybe, but...
I've always thought of you more as a Striped Bass!
I like the nautical theme. |

Clarkson and Briere to the Isles. Once this is done we can start trading some of our regulars. Trade chips Nielson, Bailey, De Haan Grabner. Before anyone complains about trading those guys, I personally like Nielson and Bailey and Grabner is my second favorite on the team. I just feel that these are the guys management would part with before the Moulsons, Okposos etc. |

David Pagnotta @TheFourthPeriod 19m
Sounds like the Blackhawks are close to a new deal with Ray Emery... http://www.thefourthperiod.com/news/chi130702.html …
Another one bites the dust...maybe...don't believe fourth period that much... - kear20

Nielsen? Where is he going? I'm thinking these kids might see some time on the wing. Put strome on the second line and Bailey on the first. - Cptmjl
I'm liking Strome on 1st line..... |
